No, it’s not that you don’t have any clothes, you do have clothes, you just forgot you have that one perfect dress for your next garden party. It’s just deep down in your wardrobe somewhere that you don’t have the time to cleaning it up. Here are the steps to get your dream wardrobe so you don’t lose your perfect dress again.

  • Empty the wardrobe

Go empty out your wardrobe. Get all your stuff out of it. Then you can prepare your canvas clean by vacuuming and wiping it clean.

  • Pick out your ‘always’ collection.

Basically it’s one collection of the main items that you can always count on. You can wear it anytime and they don’t just go out of fashion. Those items could be your shirts, skirts, trousers, coats, or shoes that don’t go out of fashion and can look good with your seasonal pieces.   3. ‘I don’t know yet’ pile; Take the items in this pile and store them in a bag or a box. You’ll give these items time until 2 more seasons tops. If you still don’t wear them by then, they’ll go to the ‘good-bye’ pile in the future.
  4. ‘Good-bye’ pile; Lastly, your ‘good-bye’ pile will be put to boxes and you can decide whether you donate them, give them to your family and friends, throw them away, or sell them
  • Your Hangers.

Before you put your items back to the wardrobe, you would’ve wanted to put aside your ugly, uninspiring, non-matching clothes hangers.
